This motor is a 4.0 NorthStar. No one wants to give out any information, I guess they want you to take it to a garage and at this time I cannot afford to do so. I would appreciate any help available.

I am having a nightmare experience at this bodyshop. Originally I took my car in for minor fender-bender repairs, which took over a month to complete for some reason. Then, when I got my car back the first time, there was a new gash on the other side of the car which they were responsible for. They at first denied it, then agreed to fix it. So then, they kept my car for another week, then when I went to pick up the car, there was a spot about the size of a dollar bill on the passenger's side door where the clearcoat was pulled up and some had chipped off. It sticks out like a sore thumb. The bodyshop says that it happened when they pulled the masking tape off of the door, and that they're not responsible to fix it because supposedly that part of the car had been painted previously and it's not their workmanship. (I've had my car for 5 years- it is 10 years old.) My paint has never looked so awful. What should I do?

A friend of mine and I have been talking about the best ways to save fuel. Our commutes consist of driving though canyons. I mentioned to him that putting the car in neutral while going down hill saves more fuel because the RPM's of the motor are at idle and the motor does not have to work to slow the car. Where he said having the in gear is better because the fuel going in to the motor is the same and you have the breaking force of the motor to control your speed. Who is more correct in this debate?

For about five months to the present, I have a problem that pickup trucks and cars of residents of next-door houses almost permanently occupied all the parking spaces right in front of my home. There are at least fifteen to twenty people residing in each of these houses.

I hate it when a dual carriage way is going down to one lane and you get all the selfish buggers trying to get to the front in the outside lane then cut in at the last minute!

I have always felt that the higher the octane the cleaner it keeps the carborator and the better it runs. Kinda like the better fuel you give a machine the better it runs. I used to run in competitions alot and would eat oatmeal, rice, or cereal for breakfast. When I ate a doughnut I didn't do as well... does this same theory go along with a vehicle or should I switch the cheaper gas?

Also does the higher octane level make a difference in an older 1983 stick shift carborated truck or would it make more of a difference in something fuel injected? Just wondering?
