ya stick a needle into the washer tips. itll loosen up whatever debris is in there. be careful though, the needle could be larger than the hole destroying the nozzle tip and then youll have to go out and buy one of those ones with the led's in them and look like a poser like the rest of those dummies that buy led windshield washer housings...

Hi, I had a simmaler problem with my vectra's washers.
If anybody has in it's history put something like washing up liqued in the washer bottle, it can slowly bung up the filter prior to the pump.
I would find the pump, carefully look how to remove it (VIA A HAYNES MANUAL)
remove the filter & clean & replace it.
If having done this, it still doesn't work, then follow the rubber tubing from the pump, and look for a round disc about the size of a penny.
This is a 1 way valve, there is a chance this could be blocked, or broken.
Try releasing the tubing before it & spray as normal, if this comes out quickly, then replace, the rubber & remove the other side, if the flow is weak, then replace the valve.

well if the pump is making noise, were half way through the problem, first disconnect the rubber line that feeds the nozzles under your hood, there will be one from your pump that will seperate into two that run to your nozzles and see if your pump will pump washer fluid. the next step is disconect the rubber hose at your nozzles and check the pump. if the nozzles are clogged, which i suspect pick up a new set at bmw they are cheep enough

Had a pipe blow apart on my Golf Gti and my Mondeo in the past. Could of happenend if the water was frozen in the pipe.
Keep trying it and see where the water comes from. Carefull though the Gti was leaking into the roof lining(rear wiper) The mondeo blew off the pump on the bottom of the bottle.

you may find the washer pipe is blocked.try removing the pipe from the jets.if the pump woks then you need to back blow the jets to remove the blockage if this does not work disconect the pipe from the pump and try the washers,if the pump is still noisey it will be part-sezied and will need replacing.

i spotted you published >my windscreen washing gadget reservoir bottle is crammed with the marvelous capability of anti freeze answer < (you do no longer use coolant anti freeze interior the washing gadget bottle because it rots the rubber blades on the wipers & nackers up the paintwork) As furry jim says, ford do heated nozzles, in spite of the undeniable fact that it does not help the pipe between reservoir & jets. i'm getting around this difficulty via extending the washing gadget hose & wrapping it around the heater feed pipe, as for frozen reservoir - - i've got no longer arise with a plan yet different than amplify the heater return pipe to wrap around it.
