it was running two months ago i put it in reverse and it stoped. what can it be help i need this car .

It may possibly be your starter, or your alternator. Sounds like the battery seems ok since you said the lights come on. But you should take it to the mechanic.

Several things to check---
1) Is it in Park or Neutral?
2) Possible ignition switch failure.
3) Possible neutral safety switch failure.
4) Are the battery terminals clean and secure? If the cable ends are the replacement "bolt-on" repair style, are they clean and secure?
5) The connections from the starter cables to the battery or frame could be corroded.
6) Possible starter failure
7) Be CERTAIN that the battery has a FULL charge.
Don't ***/U/ME anything!!

maybe all you need is a starteer u say the lights come on but nothing else thats the main thing.

first make sure its in nurtral or park. then try to start it again. make sure theres enough gas in it. if still nothing have ur battery checked at any auto place.
