Don't get any ideas, but sometimes the lock on my car doesn't work. I rarely have anything of value in there, but I live in a city where lots of cars get broken into. Do you think I have anything to worry about since my car is old?

I am in the process at looking at another truck. I currently own a 94' Nissan Pick-up but I am looking for something newer. I came across the Tundra and the Tacoma and I heard Toyota trucks are pretty good and reliable. I know the Tundra is the bigger of the two but which one would recommend for a 20 year old college student?

Also, not that it is a big deal or anything but does the 01-04 model Tundras and Tacomas come with keyless entry?

Anyways, positive answers would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have no heat/ac in my monte. When i turn it on i hear a venting sound but nothing happens. I attempted to check the fuse but the fuse box is just a complete mess of wires. While i was down there I noticed a diagnostic connector. Would this be able to tell me the problem, and where should i take it to be read?

Battery went dead in 95 Accord. Left the lights on for an hour and it crapped. Went to turn it over and the alarm went off. Lost the keypads years ago and haven't used the alarm since. Alarm eventually stopped. Replaced battery with new one and lights work but car won't turn over. Connected alarm to terminal and it chirpped, but still nothing. Removed fuse from alarm connector and still nothing. Don't know what to do next. I know it must be simple and has to do with this old alarm.

Anyone help? Much appreciated.

The car was so nice and it's driving me crazy not knowing what it was. I have a pic of just the back of it but nobody I know has any idea. I use valvoline over 75, 000 extend life oil, I have really good spark plugs, I just bought the 8.2 Volt iginition wires, WHAT ESLE IS THERE TO MAKING THIS ENGINE LIVE FOREVER? Also, does any one know of any main weakness a Jetta has? Like the Cynlider hubs breakdown easy, or the exhoust comes off fast...ANYTHING LIKE THAT...please share..thanks!

It's way too hard for me to choose a car because I have a budget of $6000 and all the cars that I've seen online are pretty nice. There's a blue Ford Taurus that I'm looking at particualrly though! Taurus's are pretty big and I like that; I would be able to fit a lot of my friends in there. The one I want also has a DVD/TV in it and PS2 connected to it, so when I drive, like, my little brother to school, he won't feel so alone and bored in the back while I'm talking to my friend in the front seat or something. It's also great, if I have to wait somewhere and need to kill time. Oh, and there's also a rack on top so when it's time to go up to the mountains or something, I'd be able to put my board up there...so what do you think? Is this a good car? If you were one of my peers would you see me pull up in it and be like, "uh, gross" she should've gotten the jetta/acura/civic or something..? (well, maybe not like that, but basically:) does this car sound good to you? Thanks for the input!

You guys are good. I've asked alot, here about this truck and I appreciate you all passing on these excellent tips. So, I'm getting spoiled, maybe. If it works, don't fix it. If it doesn't, I will always try to fix it, before I get a new one. Especially here, where they're $200.
