i own a repair shop, and i have found by adding a K&N air filter to them it helps them a lot ,i have added the filter to some different types of cars here lately ,and i have found a big increase in fuel mileage on most of them,i noticed a differenc in some of my vehicles also, but it really will help the mileage on it,that and running synthetic oil in it helps it a lot,it lubricates them better, and last a lot longer also, good luck with it i hope this help,s.
