Answer to the above question GREED!!!, we all know this by now. This country is run by big business and as long as they are in control, the little guy will always lose. I have had a Flex Fuel vehicle since 2000 (Ford Ranger) and to this day there are no gas stations in Northern California that offer this fuel. Even when this type of fuel i available it will be offered above the $2.00 per gallon range. Hey America, take a lesson from Brazil.

I have a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse. I'm on a tight budget, so I can't afford a lot. But I'm wondering, for the money (lowest possible) what are the best brand & type of tires for all season? Of course I'm especially interested for the winter.

Hi, I have a 91 Jeep Wrangler (2.5l) with about 160k miles. The previous owner used it as a daily driver and as a "mudding" vehicle. It ran great the day I bought it, but recently white smoke started coming out of the exhaust. It’s most likely, coolant being burnt with the fuel. I think the cylinder head and gasket have been ruined from overheating.

I looked under the hood for the first time since I bought it and noticed that caked on dirt was in the coolant reservoir. The radiator was brownish inside – I’m unsure if this was mud or rust. I drained the radiator and mostly brown liquid came out. Once it dried out, there were little brown flakes on the inside top.

Should I get the engine replaced (expensive), or take a risk and just replace the cylinder head and gasket (cheap)? Also could the water pump have failed from rusty coolant circulating through it?

I'm a college student, so I’m looking for an affordable solution (nothing unnecessary). I've yet to see what the oil looks like.

Can anyone explain the obsession with fog lights? I'm not talking about the small running lights on vehicles...I mean the huge fog lights that so many drivers seem to think they need regardless of the weather. At night, they blind oncoming traffic. During the day, they're just pretentious. Am I just out of touch, or do they annoy other people too?

I have a 1994 Ford Explorer. It has a 4.0L engine.I need to know the name of a part.I will try to explain it as simple as possible. It is connected to the 2 hoses that come out of the firewall on the passenger side. And then there are 2 hoses that connect to it from the other side of it.One of them goes to the water pump.I cannot see exactly where the other one leads. It has some sort of regulator? or something on it that has a wire leading from it.I know it almost has to have something to do with the heater and A/C.The part I am talking about seems to actually be 2 parts.I need to replace it as it has a leak in it.I can see the leak. It's tubuler in shape and about the size of a quarter in width. And maybe 4 or 5 inches long.

How do I change the antifreeze on my car? I had to put in water over the summer when the car overheated and I changes the thermostat. But now, with the cold weather, I need to empty the water and put in 50-50 antifreeze.

How do I accomplish this?
