If it has a tach it is pretty simple, drive normally in second or third, then open the throttle quickly. If the tach winds out but the speed doesn't increase proportionately then the clutch is slipping and it time for a new one. You can also tell on hills, the revs will start going up even when it's not accelerating.

If it1s slipping,it is time ti adjust it or replace it. That simple.
