still give an accurate reading of the temperature of the temperature of the engine, eg if your pipes birst and you were about 20 miles away from a ford dealer, or home (where you had replacement pipe) would the sensor still give accurate readings so you could stop and let the car cool down before starting the engine up again?

I have a 1999 Honda Accord and lately the gears have not been shifting correctly. I took it in to the Honda Dealer to have it inspected and they advised me that I need a whole new transmission. Now my car is only 7 years old and in great condition and I find it hard to believe that I need a new transmission already. I use to have a 1991 Honda Accord and it is still running and i have not had to replace its transmission. I feel like the Honda Dealer is trying to take advantage of me because I am a lady. I could use some advice on what I should do in this situation. Does anyone Know much about the torque clutch converter and does it go that easily? Better yet, is my only option to replace the whole transmission? Any mechanics out there, I would truly appreciate your response.

US gas prices seem to have been considerably lower than European prices for many years. Should we expect that condition to be more or less permanent? Or is there some reason that, within the foreseeable future, US & European gas prices may approach each other?

I don't understand how submarines navigate over long distances, under water. You cannot see, so a map is no good. GPS would not work under water. Sonar would only work if you had a 3D map of the whole sea bed. A compass and timing would be too inaccurate. Perhaps some kind of inertial reference system using gyroscopes?

I'm painting my vehicle, and I removed some trim on the doors, which I am going to keep off. There are a few holes that were used for the clips about 1/4 inch diameter each. There is no rust

What is the best method of filling them? I can access both sides of the panel where the holes are.

My thoughts were to apply bondo to both sides, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also, what is the fasted drying product?

Thanks

I changed the front and rear breaks three weeks ago. The front rotors were also changed. As I left the lot I began to hear a dull kind of hissing or rasping sound before the car comes to a complete stop. I thought it was just the new breaks "breaking" in, but i have continued to hear the noise. The car breaks fine and there is no cracking sound either, what do you guys think is the problem? thank you.
