To help you better understand the situation, imagine that while you're driving you feel your car slow down as if it's out of breath, and that if you give it more gas, it takes a while before it jerks back up to speed. Sometimes, it just craps out entirely so that the engine shuts off. I've replaced the battery and fuel pump, and I'm not sure what else to do. Help, please.

I thought maybe thermostat was stuck but a new one does the same thing. I removed the thermostat and works ok without it. But now it takes so long to warm up and get heat in the morning. What would cause an engine to suddenly begin producing more heat like this? Coolant is pumping and circulating fine.

I live in Baton Rouge, LA. I have been seeing many cars, mostly higher end models like Escalades that are owned by black people, with a strange four symbol logo on the side of the cars. Its located right behind the front tires. It's always four silver stick on symbols. Some look like an upside down question mark and the last two symbols always look like a backwards bending "I". Does anyone have any ideas what these symbols mean?

I have a 2000 mazda protege... above the defrost vent in the center of my dash the windshield is fogging up. And if I turn the heat to the floor all of the windows fog up. It's not leaking onto my floorboards. My coolant level is at the low mark. Could it be something besides the heater core? I can't find one anywhere, except the dealer for over $200!!!! Autozone, Carquest, Napa... none of them can even special order it.

like what tow-trucks have.... or like an undercover police car. a single rotating flashing light, but yellow. i would assume red and blue are illegal, but a bunch of utility trucks have them. do you need some sort of permit to have one on your hood or on your dashboard? just curious. thanks

I bought a new car a year ago, and I have been bringing it in for tune ups etc as specified by the dealership, since it's still under warrantee. But I thought this was odd, I brought it in today, and the sticker said that I was to bring it in at 21000km or on Nov 4, whichever was 1st. Now the new sticker says Jan 30 or 24000 km. I thought it was every 6 months, not every 3 months?? What is it supposed to be?
