I have a '99 Toyota Camry and today the lever that opens the fuel door doesn't work. Does anyone know if there is an alternate way to open the fuel door?

Open your trunk and on the side of the fuel door is a relies. Pull it and the door will open.

You should be able to pry it open without force. pry the door than use the release again. This should open the door. It sounds like the release by the fuel cap needs to lubricated. Use WD-40 or something similar.

There should be a back up cable in the trunk behind the carpeting!
