it has allways had a pull to the right even after i changed the tires 3 times. i just recently fliped the power steering belt off and it seemed to drive straight then.

The problem is in the steering gear box.I have had this problem several times.The cause is an internal fluid pressure leak in the spool valve.You could have it rebuilt as its much cheaper than a new unit. Hope this helps you out

it sound like you have loose suspension parts. raise vehicle off the ground, put your hands at 3 and 9 oclock position on the front wheel. try move the wheel back and forth lightly. if there is movement , have another person look at the suspension and see which part is moving. the common loose parts on GMC are idler arm and pitman arm

as mentioned already it is definitely in the steering gear box. but i would also get the vehicles alignment check to make sure your camber adjustment isnt too far out

try a bigger pulley on the pump. or change the pressure spring in the pump?
