If you sign with a trucking company they will pay you to go to school my brother went with central refrigeration for his training. And no you don't have to go to school in a certain state he went to school in Salt Lake city Utah, Now he is based in Atlanta Ga. with a Tennessee CDL

Yes the state matters.Go to school,it is worth the price.
