For autos class I have to make a chart for fasterners. I need info for the following sizes..

1/4in
5/16in
3/8in
7/16in
1/2in

I need to know the threads per inch for both the coarse and fine of the sizes above.

I also need to know how tight they should be tightened based on their size, threads per inch, types (coarse/fine), and grades

I also need to know what tap drill size to use for them.

Anyone know the listed info or a site with the info on it?

I met someone who said they need to save up $2000 just for their BTA to come to the United States from Nigeria, is this for real or can that fee be waived or lessened. They are not coming here on business, it is a permanant personal move. They are planning on immigrating here and becoming a permanent US citizen. Any information that I can obtain on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

I no longer drive because I had been in several accidents (no fault of mine) due to idiots that like to put their makeup on while driving, disclipine a child while driving, and here is a goodie while receiving attention to the tool (if you get my drift). These incidents happened to me in the last 15 years. With cell phones, dvd players, and gps things in vehicals more accidents to come yay!

Just changed the cv axel and lost a little fluid. Do I need to add more or is this excess? If I need to add some, how much and where do I find the fill spot?

I see little triangular indentations on aircraft, often near the undercarriage. Does this mean that air can be directed to a turbine inside the aircraft if necessary? On this Wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ram_air_turbine), I see that it is external.

I have a confession: I've loved Trans Ams since I was a kid. Smokey and the Bandit was great and I saw every episode of Knight Rider right on up until I was old enough to get a driver's license.

Naturally, my first car was a '78 Firebird, followed by a '79 Trans Am (the car I wanted to begin with). I bought a 2000 Trans Am WS6 as soon as I paid off my student loans from college, and it's the best car I've ever driven. My face hurt when I bought it from grinning so much.

Now it's got 100k miles, and I'm faced with a painful reality. It won't last forever.

I can't bring myself to buy a Ford. And the Dodge Charger is just too heavy. The GTO is out, not that it mattered. It looked too much like a Grand Prix and had poor handling. I might be able to settle for a Camaro in 2009, but why should I have to settle?

Am I going to have to look at a Subaru WRX STi or Mitsubishi Evo? Have things gotten this bad? Pontiac, tell me you're listening.

I just bought a 99 gsx eclipse from my brother a week ago and somebody already laid their eye on it. It was broken with the intent to steal it. They came back but I was out already. I locked it with the stock security system, and it was opened with not problem by a couple of punks, I wish I saw their licence plate. Anyway, the question is, how could they have broken in so easily and what is the most effective system against theft, has to be cheap. Thanks in advance.

I've got a pair of component speakers for my front doors and i cant find an easy place to mount them.
The crossovers are about 3"x 4"x 1 1/2"
The car is a 94' diamante mitsu...
I herd that the closer the crossover is to the speaker the better.
So I found one place inside of my doors were it wont be in the way of anything (window,etc...), but its going to be hard to mount there.

So i was wondering if maybe there was a different easier place to mount the crossovers.

Thanks
