For autos class I have to make a chart for fasterners. I need info for the following sizes..

1/4in
5/16in
3/8in
7/16in
1/2in

I need to know the threads per inch for both the coarse and fine of the sizes above.

I also need to know how tight they should be tightened based on their size, threads per inch, types (coarse/fine), and grades

I also need to know what tap drill size to use for them.

Anyone know the listed info or a site with the info on it?

Lots of sources for this information!

Try the links below, the first for TPI (threads per inch), the second for torque specifications, the third for tap/drill size.

You probably could have found them with less typing in a browser than by entering all that as a question!

Those are all SAE standards. Do your home work. That is what school is all about.
