I no longer drive because I had been in several accidents (no fault of mine) due to idiots that like to put their makeup on while driving, disclipine a child while driving, and here is a goodie while receiving attention to the tool (if you get my drift). These incidents happened to me in the last 15 years. With cell phones, dvd players, and gps things in vehicals more accidents to come yay!

Road rage is a pain too and to comment to countpetz, i was rear ended in 2 of the accidents and tbone by the guy that was getting his attention

I am with you 100 % its not safe anymore people just do what they want and life's are easily taken OR badly messed up sorry you were hurt in car wrecks and they really need to get it better with safety and vehicles its deadly and people just keep doing it and I don't blame you one bit for not driving and hey the cab driver could be on something today its unsafe to leave your house , great question take car and hope you OK

I think that people who are driveing should have their total attention on the road and others around, pay attention to what the other person is doing to try to aviod the posibility of an accident , i have a friend who had a daughter ,in a car with other teenagers she went thru the back window and died at age 16, it,s best to always keep your eyes on the road and the trafic , nothing else for your friends sake.

Because in the good ol' USA, any freaking idiot can get a license out of a gum ball machine. It requires no education, no training, no nothing. We need to be like the Germans. Want a License in Germany...no problem! $6000 dollars and 6 months of HARD CORE schooling! It amazes me that we think nothing of sharing an Interstate every day with people who outside of their vehicles we wouldn't give them a drink of water if they were dying of thirst. We share the roads with some of the biggest dregs of society...a VERY scary thought. Just one that can't be helped unfortunately! I esp. HATE these f--king morons who let their front seat passengers...mainly idiot women, prop their nasty bare feet on the dashboard. The most irritating and UNSAFE thing I have ever seen, and should be outlawed in all 50 states

Well, here in Arizona we have the WORST drivers. It's because we have a combination of all different driving technics.. if that's the right word to use. We get the snowbirds here in the winter and we have so many different people moving here that when you combine the driving ways and put them all on the road.. its Hell.

At first I thought you were going to comment on road rage.
I think people get so comfortable in their vehicles that they forget they are pushing a ton or more of metal down the road and if they screw up it could kill someone.

first of all this is not an answer but i totally agree with you i drive them every day and its getting worse why don"t they use the signals to change lanes car manufacturers didnt put them on for decoration i cant read their minds i swear so much while driving.
