I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 litre. The other day as I was leaving home I heard a noise from the engine compartment and then noticed the A/C or power steering wasn't working. I turned around and went straight home and raised the hood. My serpentine belt was off the pullies and I noticed that the harmonic balancer had eased forward. Can anyone tell me why this happened and how to fix it?

Looking for someone who's driven or worked with both makes and can offer their opinion of which is better... cost, maintenance, warranty, operation, etc... Any unique quirks and such. Not too worried about the engine types since both companies offer the engine I prefer. Give me a reason to vote your answer as Best Answer. Thanks in advance.

Right now we're currently using an OLD mack with a PTO driven 5th wheel hitch and dual axles. Very inefficient.

What year is best to have : from 1996 to 1999 on the C230
The Kompressor or just the C230 with out the turbo? also any problems with the Kompressor ? more reliable from the two?

I always see stuff like "all harley dealers charge thousands over list" or "harley uses 50 year old technology". I don't remember the twin cams or evos on the earlier harleys. The only 2 motorcycles I seen on the side of the road this season were both hondas. Yeah , I know your sportbike or your goldwing (minivan) can smoke my lowrider, my girlfriends chevy blazer can smoke a school bus too. BFD.

i have a Hifonics BXi 2006D Class D Monoblock Amplifier and its rms power ratings are
1 ohm=2000w x1
2 ohm=1300w x1
4 ohm=650w x1

and i am planning on getting two 12" Pioneer Premier TS-W3004SPL. these subs are 1000w rms/3000w max.

the thing about these subs is that you can buy them in either "dual 2 ohm" or "dual 4 ohm". and i dont know wich will go best with my amp. i was told a dual 4 ohm would go best with this amp but i want to here what others got to say.

and just "FYI" i already have a 5.0 farad capacitor and all the wiring, etc...

I had a driver's license in Illinois. The license was suspended because I never finished paying on a no insurance ticket. Well, I was looking at the old Illinois license the other day, and realized it expired back in February of this year. So..since it's expired now, can I just go and take the written and driving tests here in Texas and get a new license alltogether? Or do I still have to "fix" the problems on my Illinois license even though it's expired? I have TRIED to call the Illinois DMV, but they keep giving me this phone number and that phone number and just directing me in circles. Has anyone been in this situation before? How did you handle it? What did you have to do?

And the worse part....it's a Saturn! I need to have her refinance this or something. I am responsible for the loan. If I don't pay it, I have bad credit, and she gets to drive it. It is a joint loan, so legaly, she has as much right to drive it as I do. Tip to the guys out there: never do this.

--The light only blinked for about 3-4 seconds as I was idling on an uphill (I wasn't pressing the brake).
--This is the first time this has happened.
--The car has 167,000 miles.
--I recently hit the curb at 40 mph (got the struts replaced, and the car aligned). Is it related?
