I'm moving to arizona from california so it's a pretty big jump in temperatures. Someone once told me that it's a good idea to get a triple-core radiator and new coolant system before the move to ensure my car can handle the heat. Can any arizona residents/experts give some advice as to whether this is necessary or what kinds of mods/maintenance should be done? I'll be moving to the Tempe area as a graduate student at ASU so low-cost options would be great! Thanks!

It's not the tires! I have already changed them out. It's not the rims.

Does any body know without guessing. Can it be the struts?

I took my car down to Auto Zone and they put a code reader on my car and it said "Vapor leak" The guy said my gas cap wasn't installed properly. Well, I checked it and it was secured. I turned the cap 2 times around. and that light will NOT go out. I've driven close to 70 miles since.

Right now, I'm driving an old van and am so scared to take turns, thinking I'll topple over. I'm planning on buying a new car and am wondering what kind (that I can buy used) handles turns really well even at not-so-slow speeds. Thanks for the help; I appreciate it!

I was driving through a sort of a tunnel and I was hit with something, rocks I guess. Now I have two dime sized spots on my windshield. I'm afraid they will start cracking and ruin the whole thing. Will the railroad company pay to seal the chips? How much does that sort of thing cost?

I'm going to buy a used car and I'm really confused as to which one to choose..

There's a:
96 Dodge Avenger (Red)
98 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS (Red)
92 Toyota Celica, and a (Light Blue)
98 Chrysler Sebring (Maroon)

They're all around 100,000 miles and are all stated to run perfectly, so I'm not basing my decision on the mileage, I'm just confused as to which one to buy now. I'm kind of going for looks...thanks for the input!

I currently own a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally edition. Now here's the scenario:

When I put my air on 1, 2 or 3, no air comes out. If I press the A/C button, it highlights but there is still no air.

When I put my air on level 4, it blows like a mad man, but the A/C button automatically turns off.

Any suggestions?

My 97 Pontiac Montana seems to have an A/C condensate leak inside the cabin. This leak occured after my car repair people did a lot of A/C work, replacing the evaporator (which is in the rear, left quarter panel of all places) and other parts under the hood. I took it back and had them look at things, but they couldn't figure it out, then winter came around and I forgot about it. Well, the problem is persisting and it's driving me crazy.

The low points of the carpet on both the driver and passenger side of the van get wet. I have removed the center console that houses the CD player to see if I can actually see water dripping, but I cannot. The volume must be pretty significant, because after sucking out the water with a wet/dry vac, the carpet will get wet again pretty quickly.

How can I find this leak and stop it!

Thanks y'all.

the engine is really running rough, and the oilpressure is that high, that it will come out of the dipstick if opened, it also pushes it out from the line that comes out of a pipe from the oilpan.there is Not too much oil in the engine.
