The Titan is not a med duty truck , it is more comparable to a light duty.
The Ford F250 is the way to go & it has a better warranty than the Chevrolet & GMC

My husband has a 2006 F-250 with the V-10. Pretty speedy for a heavy truck. Chevrolets have good power but, the body shakes too much. Our Ford doesn't shake at all.

Let's get sizes straight F-250 is a 3/4 ton large truck Titan Nissan full size 1/2 ton, Ford f-150 1/2 ton. Silverado Chevy full size 1/2 ton. Half ton means 1,000 lbs load capacity Get a 3/4 ton 4 tires 1,500 load, or one ton dually 6 tires 2,000 lbs load plus trailer sounds like you will really be using this truck. Diesel fueled trucks last longer work harder. Medium size trucks dodge durango, mitsubushi rader, 2005/6 Nissan frontier. Toyota Tundra is somewhere in between

sounds like you want a medium duty, not a medium size. i would have to say get u a ford 3/4 ton. stay away from the v-10(unless u make a killing in your job). the Powerstroke is a good engine, but i would look for an older 7.3 super duty not a new 6.0. the 6.0 is a piece of junk in my opinion. the chevy and gmc 3/4 ton diesels are just not as good as the Fords. stay away from the Titan or any Jap truck for that matter. only americans know how to build a good truck for workin'

As I FOrd Motor company employee, I am proud to say the ford "F" series has been #1 for 18 years. I would reccomend a F-150, or maybe an F-250.

STAY AWAY FROM THE NISSAN
it looks like a truck but it does not survive like a truck
Chevy and Ford are great
I rec the F150 8ft reg cab auto 5.4 (I don't think it can be ordered with a 4.6) 2wd
dollar for dollar, year over year, comfort and reliable over Silverado
BONUS the FORD has a locking tailgate, always keep it locked
people are stealing tailgates here in Detroit!
