the engine is really running rough, and the oilpressure is that high, that it will come out of the dipstick if opened, it also pushes it out from the line that comes out of a pipe from the oilpan.there is Not too much oil in the engine.

it could be about two or three things....1.bad engine, 2.to much oil, 3.pcv system stopped up

try "rodding" the oil gallies(the small holes in the head and block) with a SOFT copper wire. Push and twist gently (so as to not break the wire. Then you have REAL problems) You can visually estimate the length of wire needed by holding it along side of the motor. If cleaning the gallies doesn't work you need to check the oil pump output pressure. Probably not a home job with a benz. Good luck.

Worn piston rings and if you remove the oil filler cap and rev it up it looks like a coal burning locomotive. Sorry Dude It is really time for a new car! That 240D has to be twenty five years oil/old and 1/4 million + miles

It shows that your engine needs overhauling. usually the oil stick pops out if there is a compression leak. may be you have to change the piston rings or bore the cylinder and slide in new sleevs.

You have a blow-by valve plugged somewhere, or you need to do a compression check on the cylinders in case of compression bypassing the rings going into the crankcase
