I'm going to buy a used car and I'm really confused as to which one to choose..
There's a:
96 Dodge Avenger (Red)
98 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS (Red)
92 Toyota Celica, and a (Light Blue)
98 Chrysler Sebring (Maroon)
They're all around 100,000 miles and are all stated to run perfectly, so I'm not basing my decision on the mileage, I'm just confused as to which one to buy now. I'm kind of going for looks...thanks for the input!

Price doesn't matter. I'm choosing between those because they're all within the range I'm looking at; that's why I listed them. Thanks again for the input.

Toyota Celica or the Mitsubishi Eclipse...both are far more reliable than the Dodge or Chrysler cars...as those are made to be throw away cars and no one I know has had good luck with them. I've owned Toyotas that were over 300,000 miles and still running strong.

On the mileage aspect itself, I would really look at the 3 Mistu/ Chrys. products that your looking at they do not really have a good life tendency, Where as the Toyota is just about breaking in the motor, But of course you really should look into who had owned the car & judge the amount of abuse they may have taken. Now about the Looks all the vehicles are lookers of course but the 2 that really stand out are the Mistu. Eclipse & the Celica. Of course this message is all based on my opinion, from the small amount of time that I worked on cars.

If they're all around the same mileage then clearly the toyota is the best deal. that would be my first pick with the limited amount of info i have to go on. next choice would have to be mitsubishi.
make sure you get it checked out whatever you decide.
happy hunting

Mitsubishi is a very reliable brand and a 98 is a not too old car.

The mitsu and the toyota have the best resale value, the cost of purchasing a car is:
10,000-6500 = 3500 Cost of Auto over time
purchases price-resale price in the end= Cost of Auto over time
Go to www.edmunds.com or www.nada.com for used car value

I'd go with the newest one if they were all the same price. I drove a Sebring once; t was pretty nice.
Whatever you choose, have a qualified mechanic look at it before you pay a penny.
