I took my car down to Auto Zone and they put a code reader on my car and it said "Vapor leak" The guy said my gas cap wasn't installed properly. Well, I checked it and it was secured. I turned the cap 2 times around. and that light will NOT go out. I've driven close to 70 miles since.

You probably need a new gas cap and have the light reset.
A gas cap can be purchased anyplace but the light probably needs to be reset at the dealer.

The gas caps now a days need to be turned more than 2 clicks to be sure it is on. I do mine like about 10 times if not more. It most likely is that, but, Autozone dude, isn't going to break it down for you much more than what he did. It can be any number of other little thing. Like a vacuum line is cracked, or slipped off a fitting, or the little air pump that senses pressure could've quit. If not after a few more start ups it should go out(light that is). Hope this made some sense for you. Good luck.

that is just emissions controlls. the car will function just fine with that light on. Mine is on for a egr valve and i replaced it. learn to ignore it or take it in to the shop.
