Okay, I don't know that much about boats, but I found a '79 Larson bowrider, 17', 120 HP Merc I/O...looks good. It is said to run great. Comes on a trailer. There is an obvious repair to the lower hull - looks like a very good repair, but wasn't repainted. The floor deck needs replaced, it sat uncovered for a long time.

I know enough (construction, mechanics) to replace the floor myself, and be able to do any mechanical maintenance/repairs myself (probably)...

They only want $600...seems like a great deal to me, but...

I did search here for similar questions, and found some, but none specific to my situation.

What else should I look for, and do I bother them to take me out in it when they're asking so little for it?

I'm looking for a used Suzuki Swift (year 2005) in the UK. It has to be 1.3, 5dr manual in either red or blue. I suppose that suzuki dealers will have the main offers, but I wanted to know if there were better deals out there? I just cannot find them, I have looked everywhere. Help!

Originally, when I would press down on the brake, the whole truck would shutter. My husband took off the rotors, had them turned and put them back on. The brake pads on the front are almost brand new. Now, when you try to go forward in the truck, it almost will not go forward. It is as if the problem just got worse. What is going on? The emergency brake is not on!

Can anyone tell me what the entertainment factor in these advertisements i keep seeing on tv and hear on the radio are? They dont make sense, are not funny, and it seems odd they are promoting their CEO for an American Car Company with a heavy German accent and keep mentioning his German heritage...

Two days ago I noticed really hot air coming from all possible fans/vents in my Ford Ka.

I have shut the fans and turned the dials to 'off' so not sure why there's any air at all coming from the fans.

I'm really struggling in this heat and wondered if anyone knew what might be causing this.

Annoyingly, it's only just been serviced!

we bought the car used, about a month or so after buying it, it wouldn't start (it's a Ford Contour SE by the way) We took it to Ford to have em look at it, and they found that the starter needed to be replaced. About a month after we had that done it wouldn't start again and we took it back and they told us it was a faulty part and replaced the starter again. It's been a little over a month now and the car is having the same problems. My fiance' has a theory it's electrical as we have had problems with the turn signals since we bought it too, Ford looked at it and said it was an electrical problem (with the turn signals) and they apparently fixed it. Now the turns signals have completely gone out so my fiance' tried replacing the fuses, but that did nothing. Which is why he thinks it may be connected to the problem with the starter, and that it may be electrical. I am just frusterated cuz Ford should know the most about a Ford car and if they can't find the problem, who can?
