We're paying an even 3 over here, but if you drive into the country a little, you can find it for 2.79, so we're not doing too bad.
There used to be this website that I would go to to find out the lowest and higest gas prices in the country, but I forget what it was. Oh, here it is! www.gasbuddy.com
Apparently in New York they're paying 3.39 a gallon, and California's up to 3.99 in some places. Wow.

south east coastal georgia here.. and its right at 2.89 ,2.99and 3.19 so yours might just be a lil lower than what we are paying ..
Also there is a site you can check for gas prices in your its http://www.gaswatch.info all you have to do is type in your zip code, you can do this for any area to ck the prices. Like if you are planning a trip and wondering what gas prices are when you arrive.

According to NPR this morning, San Diego is highest at 3.28 I believe and South Carolina is cheapest at 2.77 I think. National average 3.01.
