I was in a car accident about a year ago. Other party's fault. Now I am getting a settlement letter from the other party's insurance: they're only willing to pay $500 of $1000 of my car rental bill. They say the car was in the shop unreasonably too long. It was just after the hurricaine last year and all bodyshops were way behind due to all the cars damaged by force majeure. I tried to bargain with them, but they wouldn't budge. Do I have to take them to court? Is it worth it? What else can I do?

The hesitation is like a hiccup or slippage. But it is happening with regularity in the power curve between 1500 and 2000 rpms, and from 40-50 mph. It only happens, though when I am going up hill and have to give her some gas to maintain speed. I dont feel the trans downshifting.

If it is a transmission issue (the trans is an automatic), is this a sign I will need a full blown replacement or is it an adjustmet type of issue? If not a transmission problem, what could it be? THANK YOU FOR RESPONDING!!!

Would it insult the air hostess? Does it send the message that I don't trust the pilot?

I just don't want to drown, and that cushion could keep me afloat if I really need it!

if the engines push too fast, the cars may leave the rails, if they push too slowly, they may drag and slow the train down. so how does this work?

What if I allow the beer cans to roll around on the tray, onto the floor, and my neighbor's lap? And with the tabs open too?

I've some traveling in the near future via rail, and I'm just trying to draw the line between what is and is not polite.

It's very strange: the battery is fully charged and all eletrical components work when the key is in the 'on' position. But, sometimes, when the key is turned to 'start' to crank, she turs right over and other times, nothing besides the hum of the ignition switch. Is it the starter solenoid and, if so, can it be replaced without replacing the entire starter? (It looks like it's possible, but I'd like to get a warning if not)

Also, I have explored other possibilities, including the position of the transimission shifter, to no avail...

Help!!

i personally think that it's not safe to only have power windows because what if they went out -- for safety they should have the manual cranks in there too.

My mechanic, a supposedly reliable guy, told me that this is what he would need to charge to fix my air conditioner. He said he would have to take the whole front off to get to the leaking part. Is this possible? Also, if I recharge the air conditioner, will it give me anything at all?

I still have no clue what the 8 digit solution is, but when i went to the UK site and looked at the box bottom and box lid i found different symbols. So I'm thinking that if your answer works for both the UK and US website then you're sure to have it right.

Check them out. They're (mostly) all different (Spain and Austria have the same one.)

The Japanese one looks like braille.
The UK and US ones are just EVIL!!!!!!!!!!
And Spain and Austria couldn't have had it any easier!!! (Just find the box, tilt your head on its side and simply READ the 8 digit number).

I agree, I do believe it has something to do with the bermuda triangle and the 8's I believe are pretty close to being correct also. But if you remember every island we have been on, the keyword to enter was also a hint to finding out the answer to the coordinates. I believe that ssssssst is a hint for the string of numbers...77777778 the seven sevens for the seven seas and the eight is an infinity sign...think about it.
