The keyword for Port Royal is obtained by using the eight eyed card and placing the upper left most eye over the s from the location hollow trees and turning the card at a 45 degree angle (approximate) towards the serpent.
The letters shown in the eyes are:
Upper Left - s (from hollow treeS)
Upper Right - s (from Six islands)
2nd Row Left - s (from shallowS)
2nd Row Right - s (from six iSlands)
3rd Row Left - s (from horSe bay)
3rd Row Right - s (from six islandS)
Bottom Left - s (from South cape)
Bottom Right - t (from serpenT)

Reading from left to right, top to bottom, you arrive at: ssssssst

To solve this puzzel you must go back through the previous locations and find the obvious letters and numbers written somewhere.

1) Sargasso Sea - Nothing
2) Bermuda - 2 on box lid, 5 on plate
3) Madiera - 5 on door, 8 on wine cask
4) Tropic of Cancer - N
5) Saint Helena - 7
6) Saint Mary - 7
7) Pulau Jong - 1
8) Diomede - Nothing
9) Isla Mas A Tierras - 3 on rocks
10) Cape Horn - Nothing
11) Cozumel - W
12) Isla Culebra - Nothing
13) Port Royal - Nothing

Using the numbers derived from each of the locations (and the order in which they were obtained, if more than one number was obtained, such as on Bermuda and Madiera)

2 - Bermuda
5 - Bermuda
5 - Madiera
8 - Madiera
N - Tropic of Cancer
7 - Saint Helena
7 - Saint Mary
1 - Pulau Jong
3 - Isla Mas A Tierras
W - Cozumel

Put them together and you arrive at:
2558N7713W which will take you... somewhere.

** SPOILER ALERT **

Here's how you get those coordinates:

During the entire hunt there have been extra characters or symbols found at several of the locations. Most people (myself included) noticed this and started taking note of every little thing that might represent a character or part of a coordinate.

Here's my overall list (just so you get an idea of how dang annoying it was finding the correct characters):

1- Sargasso Sea: maybe 1 (unlucky one)
2- Bermuda: obvious 5, maybe S (… in morse code), maybe 7 (seas or trees on left)
3- Madiera: obvious 5, maybe 8 (on it’s side, looks like infinity)
4- Tropic of Cancer: obvious N
5- Saint Helena: obvious 7
6- Saint Mary: obvious 7
7- Pulau Jong: obvious 1 (kanji), maybe 5 or S, maybe 2
8- Diomede: maybe 1, maybe N
9- Isla Mas A Tierras: maybe lots of stuff  (S, 5, 1, 2, W)
10- Cape Horn: maybe 1
11- Cozumel: obvious W
12- Isla Culebra: 6 (lightning over island during opening), maybe W, maybe 1
13- Port Royal: 7 (seven seas tamed?)

Then, this morning while I was going around to the various locations I noticed 2 other obvious characters that had been added that weren't there before:

1- In Isla Mas A Tierras there is now 3 blatantly obvious white marks on the rocks to the far right.

2- In Bermuda if you look on the underside of the wine box lid it says "2..."

Well the coordinates are composed of all the obvious characters in order of location:

2 and 5 from Bermuda
5 and 8 from Madiera
N from Tropic of Cancer
7 from Saint Helena
7 from Saint Mary
1 from Pulau Jong
3 from Isla Mas A Tierras
W from Cozumel

which makes 2558N7713W.

The numbers and letters are scattered about on the sites that you visited on the hunt.
On Bermuda there is a buried pottery shard with ...5, and the box lid has 2... written on it.
On Madiera there are 5 scratches on the wall by the door (like a tally mark), and a barrel with a sideways 8 on it.

I won't tell you any more of them. You really should see if you can find them yourself just for fun.

I have no idea how to get those coordinates, I just found them earlier on this website. If someone could show me how they got those numbers that would be appreciated.
