Cars & Transportation - 9 July 2006

I have an '03 Cobra and had to take to service king for a quarter panel repair. 4 and a half weeks later I discover my car had been totaled while in the shop (mechanics went street racing and lost control). Parted several cars to repair mine and passed it off as if nothing had ever happened. Need help! Anyone heard of this or experienced in this area.

i was in a car wreck a while back. another car hit my car. I hurt my back but now I am fine. i was in pain for about 3 weeks. My doctor says its minor but I could have some back problems later. the insurance company is wanting to settle with $700 and out of that $193 goes to unpaid medical bills. my own medical insurance company paid my $4000 medical bill which the insurance company does not have to pay back. is this a fair amount? if not what would be?

whent to check my air filter and found a puddle of oil laying in my air cleaner housing,and my filter soaked with oil,any ideas? and I replaced my pvc valve.and I do have a filter in side my housing ,that is also soaked with oil.

came back that 5 of my injectors were clogged so they cleaned them and its still running the same. the problem i have is that it has lost almost all of its pwer. it doesnt accerlate past 70 or 3200 rpms without it making a popping/clacking sound. as if there was to much compression and it not releasing it. the computer diagnostics shows the misfiring is gone but what else can be the problem? anyone have a similar problem?

Car will start just fine but on two mornings in the past month I had to keep my foot on the gas pedal for a few minutes in order for it to stay crunk. What's wrong? Tune up? Bad Gas? Or what?

both front hub bearings need to bee replaced whenever i make left turns the car makes rubbing noise the machanic said it was defenatly the hub bearings. i dont have much experience with repairing cars but i figure if i buy a step but step guide i can do it myself.

I am leasing a car in IL. I am moving to NY in August. Can I keep my IL registration in NY? My car is registered at my parents' address who live in IL, so theoretically, I could keep my insurance and lease payments at that address. Please help as it costs a lot of money to re-register the car in NY, plus my lease payments will go up. Thanks!

I have never had chrome rims before, and didn't realize that they needed to be cleaned very often. I went all winter like a bonehead without cleaning them. I have them just about clean, but there is still some brake dust baked on the outside of the rims and a little on the openings on the inside of the rims. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

One spark plug looks fine the other covered in black soot. Cleaned carb and switched coil packs around with no results. Poured a little tranny fluid in gas to remove carbon with no results.
