came back that 5 of my injectors were clogged so they cleaned them and its still running the same. the problem i have is that it has lost almost all of its pwer. it doesnt accerlate past 70 or 3200 rpms without it making a popping/clacking sound. as if there was to much compression and it not releasing it. the computer diagnostics shows the misfiring is gone but what else can be the problem? anyone have a similar problem?

With what you are saying I would definitely have the catalytic converter checked. It could be clogged up and causing back pressure to the engine, The only remedy is to replace it. Many people may tell u to drill some holes in it or remove it alltogether, but please dont do that, that is illegal with fines up to $10,000.

If the technitian had done his job properly,he would have test driven the truck ,with you,to see what was going on before he ran diagnostics or performed any work.True, the injectors may have been clogged or misfiring(they should also have provided you with a comp. printout to show this),But even at that ,a follow up test drive would have shown that the problem still existed. This is assuming he ran full diagnostics as you said,or just retrieved comp.codes and proceeded from there. You need to sit down and have a serious talk with him, hopefully he can fully explain his proceedures.

It might be a weak fuel pump, but I can't imagine a professional mechanic cleaning your injectors without running a pressure test. It may be water in your fuel. Try running a bottle of HEET through the fuel system.

i have read some of the other answers but no one has told you that a missfire can be caused by something as simple as a spark plug.i would try a simple tune up.plugs ,wires, roter, and cap. iv seem in the past that this takes care of the problem.and its cheaper than a cat
