87, 50 hp force outboard motor. First time this has happened. Gave it full throttle, would not plane out. Stopped and idled for a minute, gave throttle again and it took off and plained. worked fine all morning. Afternoon, started again and would not plane or go over 10 mph. Tried several times. Motor off. motor on. New gas & oil. Went to trailor boat in the evening and it took off, planed out and ran fine. Any answers or things to try?

My Mom & I drive a 91 Ford Aerostar Van.. we just got a total fixing on our car.. EVERYTHING was fixed. except two things: neither of our windows roll up, and our back seat sliding door wont open. We closed it one day [normally] and it never opened again. we've tried tugging, pulling.. everything. we thought maybe our backseat was a little dirty and something got jammed.. but i cleaned the whole van and i dont see anything down there. and about the windows, theyre just funky, and my mom says they need a new motor? becaue theyre automatic? i dunno. if you guys have any suggestions.. please give them. thanks!

I have a 79 corvet that has a 383 stroker in it. I recently found that the alternator was bad. I have replaced the alternator and a new dry cell battery. I have tested both the battery and the alternator and I know that they are good. Now my problem is that the alternator still will not charge the battery. If i start the car when i jump it, it works alright but once i remove the cables the voltage on the guage starts dropping. It just wont charge. Oh by the way i cant take it to a auto repair shop becuase no one will work on a car that is over 20 years old. Where do i begin to find this problem and fix it? Any advice?

I am looking into trucking companies to work for. My list are the following: 1 Werner Enterprise 2. JB hunt 3. Falcon. I plan to work for the chosen company for ay least 6 months then resign. (To gain experience) However, I am skeptical about these companies or others after visiting this website

Is trucking industry corrupted? Do you have any advise for me on what to look for in a company and what company do you prefer? ( I am a recent graduate)

It's a 2001 Honda Accord with V6 engine. The check engine light is on. About a month ago, TCS (traction control system) light came on, and I simply turned it off by turning off the switch near the driver side seat inside the car.
Today, I noticed that it came back on while driving and then few minutes afterwards the check engine light (malfunction indicator lamp came on). Even right now, it stays on when I turn on the ignition and strangely the engine is making that acceleration attempt noise by itself, as if you are pressing on the gas pedal abruptly, and the needle on the tachometer jumps up and down by few notches.
The card has about 75,000 miles and has been less than 3000 miles since the last oil change. Has not yet had timinb belt changed. The fuel cap on the fuel tank is not loose. I've re-tightened it.
What do all these symptoms sound like (mainly the malfunction indicator lamp on, and the engine making the acceleration nosie by itself). Advises will be appreciated.

Ok if You answer this one correctly:
1. Your not blind and are actually looking for.
2. Your over the age of 16.
3. Your not out there just to **** off the rest of the drivers out there trying to make a living.
(I am a OTR driver now for 9 yrs and some ppl out there are rude and inconciderate)
This blinding also goes with the Fog Lights that ppl use just because they have them and WOW know how to hit a button and not turn them off.

2.2 programable F/I with a cold air intake and it wont pass smog (to many hydro carbins) so far ive replaced plugs,wires,oil, put high performance gas in it got a valve job,ive taken it to a muffer place and had a heat test done for my cat he says it working fine the hydro carbins are at 154 and the need to 120 min to pass ive also tryed useing a gas treatment to burn some of the carbins off and i even used a NOZ octane booster (witch isnt legal on the street) what else do you think i can do to it if you wanan see pics of the car ( to just look or to see the body style ) go here www.myspace.com/rob91585 theres a few pics there thanks for helping figer this out
