I was wondering if all cars that are 2005 or newer, if they automatically have tracking devices installed already.

No they dont. All of the GM vehicles with OnStar have gps builtin.
I really hope this 'Big Brother' trend of tracking our every movement will go away soon...but I am afraid that our liberties are going to be continually eroded in the future...

no,,not all of them do,,it would be nice if they did though,,it would make the insurance a lot cheaper,,but as talk,s go,,in the near future,,i think all car manufacture,s will install them as standard equipment,,as for now,,it,s still considered an option on most vehicle,s,,hope this help,s some.
