thats a tcc code "torque converter clutch" all this thing is is a gas saver but if it sticks on then when you mash the brakes it will act like a stopping a maual transmission without mashing the clutch. a small electric celonoid is what engages it its eather bad or filthy service the transmission first ald have them take the celinoid out and clean it if that dosent work replace the celinoid call your local ford dealer and ask how much it is first so you dont get ripped off ask for the tcc celinoid in the trans should be an e4od transmission

May have to have the Torque Convertor replaced for this problem. Call or vist the local dealer have them to run the VIN and check for TSB's for this concern.
