Adj the mirrors, adj the seats, make sure that every ones buckled up. That's the inside, under the hood, they would check their water, oil, and TX fluid. Then go!

A GOOD driver..checks ALL fluid levels (brake fluid, oil, coolant, battery, windshield washer fluid..etc), tire pressure, all lights and turn signals, and checks for any damage..starts the engine and checks all the gages to see if everything is working as it should be, adjusts seat/mirrors/tilt steering wheel as needed, fastens the seat belt, applies pressure to the brake and shifts into the proper gear, moves slowly and checks the brakes to see they are working before getting on the road. crawl underneath the vehicle making sure there are no children under it or around it, also no cats up around the frame rails or engine area, and while your down there might as well check for fluid leaks. once you got that done go back into the house and take a shower and put on clean clothes then go back outside and climb back under the car to recheck again and to get the keys and cigarette lighter that fell out your pocket.

make sure your 40oz of bud lite is full , make sure your designated driver id tied up in the trunk , make sure your car has a cup holder that's big enough to hold your 40 , if its dark out make sure you pull the fuse for your head lights so you can't turn them on , and make sure the nitrous oxide booster on your car are working properly , after you go over your safety rules drive through a residential neighborhood doing about 120 MPH , and make sure you drink your beer while you are driving because if you wait till you get home it might get warm , and make sure you don't hit any bumps if you hit a bump you might spill your beer and that would suck , well there you go just follow my standard safety tips and you will be safe
