40 inch diameter? Sounds like a wagon wheel, not a motorcycle rim. You might have to make your own.

Good luck with that!

Cheers

I know that 21" is that largest STANDARD wheel for the front, but some 23" have been made. For the rear, sizes range from 16"-18". Recently, manufacturers have started making 20/21" rears. I know these are available from PM and Xtreme Machine. My suggestion would be to talk to someone there and find out exactly what size wheel blanks they can get and go from there. You might also want to check w/ Weld wheels and see what they tell you. ( Weld may be where the blanks come from originally ) Since you are asking, I'm assuming this means you aren't a pro builder. Be prepared that IF the wheels that you want CAN me made, they are going to be ridiculously expensive..........Also for a wheel THAT size you are going to have to recalculate your neck degree and fork length to have any reasonable rake/trail.

Good luck.

You probably want to look at swamp buggies. Anything that big is unknown territory in motorcycle world
