not engine wise as in manuverability

I am buying two new tires (summer tires). Should I put them on the front or on the back of a Nissan Sentra - front wheel drive? My other two tires are not new. My main concern is which setup will prevent hydroplaning the best. I know from winter driving experience, that putting new winter tires on the front and older ones on the back is plain dumb, since the back end of the car tends to fishtail (on front-wheel drive cars).

I guess owners make statements about the cars they purchase -- how is that interpreted? What does a make/model say to others? i.e. a honda, mercedes, old or new?

I have a 1999 E320 Mercedes and I am having problems getting them to make the repairs due sludge. Mercedes settled a suit for sludge in Mercedes Benz in cars built from1998 - 2001. I want to know if anyone had problems getting the repairs done and the process that they went through to resolve the problems. Please contact me ASAP because my extended warranty does not cover sludge. Thanks Anne

I bought an 85 Ford F-150 a few weeks ago. The dealer told me it had been sitting a long time. It had an oil leak and the mechanic told me to put this additive in that would make the seals expand. I did it and now I have many leaks! Why is that and what should I do?

A year ago in the Motorcycle Museum I saw the most adorable car I ever seen in my life! It was called Corbin Sparrow and it was a 3-wheeled electric vehicle: car/motorcycle. According to the lable it WAS a new-age high-tech motorcycle that was only on 3-wheels and it was registered as one by DMV, plus to that you can drive on the highway and in carpool lane (it's a one-person vehicle)!! I loved it and I am so looking forward to get it :) but dealerships around here (East Bay Area, CA) have NO idea what I'm talking about :(

Anyone knows how and where I can get a Corbin Sparrow (in any color)? How much is it? Will I be able to afford it? Where's the main dealership? What am I supposed to know BEFORE I'll get this cute and adorable car? Is there anything that I have to be concerned with? :)

Alright. So I can start my car up fine when the engine is cold. And the engine starts up fine when it is hot as well, but after like say 1-2 minutes it will shut off again. Don't really know what is wrong.

Thanks,
Martin

I've had both outer tie-rod ends replaced (it's a Ford...*sigh*... I know, I know...). The second one I had done by a friend who's a mechanic, though it wasn't professionally aligned. Could that be my problem? Should I check the wear on the wheels? How dangerous is this if left unchecked?

Is it going to be worth while looking at hydrogen as an alternate fuel to power our automobiles, since it is going to be more expensive. Also, how often will an automobile need to be refilled, and how many fuel stations are now in operation?

Hey all. I was hoping a dealer or mechanic could help me with my problem. I want to sell/trade my 2001 ford mustang conv. for a truck. The blue book price for my car (when I last checked) was about 8,500. I was wondering what trucks are the most dependable that I could get for around 5,000-6,000? I'm leery about getting another Ford after all the things that happend with my mustang. So anything you can tell me would be helpful! I'm mainly looking for a Dodge or Chevy truck. Thanks!

Because this happend to me a few days ago. It then landed in the back of my car. Talk about freaking me out! If this happens often, I am seriously thinking about keeping my window up whenever I am driving in the car

MY mother is 78 and a cancer surivor, but the surgery she had (15 years ago) keep her from moving her neck to the right, she probably doesn't move it more than 15 to 20 degrees, meaning she changes lanes without the ability to fully check her right side.
