I have a '92 Chevy Caprice with a V8 5.0 liter engine. The car is in relatively good condition with only 90,000 miles on it. My problem is that it will crank, but it won't turn over. My sister's fiance looked at it and said he believes the fuel pump is out and needs to be replaced, but my dad said he believes it's electrical. The fuel pump turns on when the battery turns on, so I'm tending to believe my dad when he says it's not that, but rather something electrical. Any ideas what it could be so I don't spend a bunch of money on unnecessary repairs?

Also, I can't afford to take it to a mechanic, so any ideas other than that would be helpful.

I saw an ambulance the other day that went into on going traffic. It seemed like a dangerous move, but they were successful at it. Then it got me thinking that the cars in the on going traffic side had to manuever away from the ambulance, and easily could've caused a wreck. Does the ambulance keep going to their intended scene or do they stop to attend the wreck they caused?

The black rubber impeller in teh old unit has teh "arms bent so it can rotate easily in the housing. To fit tehnew impeller into teh housing I need to get all the rubber vanes bent so it fits in. Its jsut seated so tight to rotate I am worried soemthing is wrong. Is thsi normal? And how do you decide which way to bend tehvanes when inserting it.

Think about it,HYBRID cars are made for gas AND/OR electricity! What if we did'nt need gas anymore?Power is generated through alot of things opposed to gas produces ozone depletion! Especially with all this technology someone will eventually make a breakthrough!
