My bike is a Honda Shadow VLX DLX 600cc it's a good bike, nice power and all but I think in a year I might upgrade, what do you suggest?

If you want to stick with a Honda there's the VTX range.

But most important. Try before you buy.
Go to various dealers and ask for demo rides. Also try motorcycles that you normally wouldn't consider, for comparison to what you are considering.

And by all means take your time and enjoy it, the process of buying a new bike is wonderful, so don't rush it.

I tried a VTX 1800 a while back, which you can read about at the link below.

If you love the Shadow, why not move up to the "big" Shadow? I know they make one that's bigger than 600cc-- I think it's an 1100 but don't quote me on it. It'll be very similar in the way it rides.

If you maxed out the shadow the I say upgrade to something more challenging that you have your eye on. You can always customize/upgrade the Shadow more if you LOVE what you have. If not, look into another toy!
