hooked my car up to a diagnostic thing and got 4 codes. I know what they mean but i dont know how to fix it.. Or where to begin

IMHO, the best thing to do is take the vehicle (and list of codes) to your mechanic. He should have some way (usually a computer based service manual), to look up what each code means, and have a diagnostic "flow chart" to follow to test each sensor/ component, it's wiring integrity, etc. Let me give you an example. Say you have a fault code "Oxygen Sensor Voltage Stays At Center". Yes , the sensor itself could be bad, BUT, a loose connection or broken wire to the engine computer could also set the same code. That's why it's important to have the system checked, instead of just "throwing parts" at it. I also strongly recommend using the Manufacturers' sensors, I've seen many problems with aftermarket sensors. HTH!! Good Luck!!

You need to go to a professional mechanic. Jules automotive lecturer. Let me know what the fault codes are and what they mean and I will try and help further. I have to know what the fault codes mean because I don't know the diagnostic standard for your car (OBD1,OBDll, or EOBD)

if any of em are a coolant temp sensor code fix that first and what are the code numbers and type of car
