I find it hard to do the contortions necessary to clean the inside of my windshield. Is there some device already made which will make that job easier? The combination sponge/squeegee really can't get into the corners or bottom. What I'd really like is a button to push! :-)

I was wondering how long the period of time is between when the DMV first takes your driver's license picture and when they ask you to come in and take a new one. (I am interested in the DMV asking ME to come in an take a new picture- Not having to schedule taking a new picture for my own personal benefit.) I have a really bad picture, but it's not worth making an appointment with the DMV just for vanity purposes...

I smelled something and I thought it was this new tar or something, but when I left the area I was at, my right front tire area had smoke coming out of it.

I stopped the truck and there was a little smoke coming out and I decided to go to a gas station where I stopped it again it looked like it was coming from the left side. I went down the road a bit more and after I stopped again the smell/smoke stopped.

What was the problem? Did I burn my tires, or my breaks, was it my engine -I put coolant when I got home....? WHAT?!

What could have caused this and obviously it is not normal correct? The front right rotor is an smooth as can be, but as I said the front left has two very deep grooves in it already. Any help is appreciated!

To be blunt...I just, flat out, do not understand why anyone riding a motorcycle feels that helmet laws are somehow unfair. To me, it's a common sense kind of issue. You wear a helmet to keep your face from getting peeled in the event of a slide, or better yet, to keep your head from exploding like a strawberry if you get thrown.

With the exception of a few baby boomers, I think most everyone agrees that wearing a seatbelt is a smart move, and almost all states require occupants of automobiles to wear them. So why not require bikers to wear helmets. Helmets HAVE and DO save lives. So, what are the arguments against helmet laws? Why are some riders adamant that they shouldn't have to wear helmets?

Serious answers only...no children talking about how they hate wearing helmets while riding their bicycles (you're underage...get used to it).

Hey, yeah I know. Seem like everyone is asking if they can find Euro tail lights. However, I have a 1991 Honda Prelude Si 4WS. Most sites I checked out only had euro style tail lights for 92-up Preludes. So do you know where I can get a set of euro tail lights for 1991 Honda Prelude? If you know someone or some company, please respond! Any suggestions will be welcomed! Thanks!

I checked on the dealer's major tune-up package, now they just exclude many service such as brake, coolant, power steering flush service and fuel injection cleaning... I need to pick and choose to add those services myself in addition to major service. I have no idea what service is ESSENTIAL for the car or what is just for ripping off their customers.

My car is 2003 Totoya Camry with 90K mileage, with great condition and I do the oil change regularly. I don't think I did any flush services before.

It would be great if I can get the approx price between dealer, auto shop (midas, pepboys) and private mechanics for those service.

My car was hit by the truck behind on right rear after I merged from second lane to the third lane for several seconds and I applied brake because the front car braked suddenly. We called police. In the police report, it says, I made an unsafe merge and didn't leave enough space for the truck behind to stop. I dispute the police report on the accident cause. Can I still have chance to argue with the other party's insurance company and get my car repaired? Is the police report the only and final stuff that insurance company use to determine whose liability?

i live in a predominantly african-american neighborhood and work in a predominantly caucasion area of Los Angeles. while waiting at most every stop light, some are usually sitting back far enough to get one or two cars in between them and the car ahead of them. i have yet to see a caucasion person do this except for an extremely old woman who probably shouldn't be driving anyway. i don't understand the concept. and so far, no one of either race can tell me why this happens. it doesn't seem to bother anyone too much if someone's sitting on their tail. is it a fear of being car jacked and not having the ability to get away or is it that they value their cars in an extreme way and don't want to get in an accident or scratched? age and gender doesn't seem to be a factor either. please help me figure this out.
