You call your insurance company to find out what your coverage is for uninsured/underinsured drivers. Most likely you'll have to sue your own insurance company to take care of expenses and to fix your car. But hey, that's why you have that coverage in the first place. You may also want to contact an attorney for a free consult. See what they advise you to do.

Get a lawyer to help you out. Chances are, you're gonna hafta go through your insurance and the only other hope I think you might have is to take the other person to court, but becareful, it might need to be crimial court. Civil court has maximum amounts set. Good luck.

You have to let your insurance company handle it. After they fix your car, you are out of the picture, but they will pursue the other driver actively to recover the money they spent on your repairs/medical bills.

only thing i would do is to carry uninsured auto insurance to your policy for a few more dollars its worth it.
you pretty much fight for a long time trying to get something out of them unless they are under age cause that makes there parents responsible..

you call your insurance company, if you have full coverage insurance, they pay for your medical costs and auto repair.
They will then try to collect the money from the other party.
( you will have to pay your deductable)
