You need to drop the trans pan by removing all the bolts around the pan. They do not have drain plugs, so this job will be a bit messy. Order yourself a new filter and pan gasket once you remove the pan. Replace the filter and the pan with the bolts. Lower the car and use a long thin funnel, you add the fluid back in through the dipstick. About 3-4 quarts, drive it and get it hot and check the level on the dipstick one more time, add as needed.

there will be a dipstick, usually painted yellow coming up from the tranny. you take out the dipstick and with a funnel pour new tranny into the tube that dipstick came out of.
on the bottom of the tranny there will be a pan bolted on with many bolts all around the perimeter of it. check to see if there is a drain plug. if there is one, unscrew it and drain the used fluid into a pan. if not, then you have to unbolt the pan and drain it out by pulling pan off the bottom of tranny. if you have to do it this way buy a new gasket when you buy the new tranny fluid, garuntee ya gonna have to replace it.
also might as well change the filter that is inside pan while your at it, old filters will cause your car to shift hard when they get clogged up, or worse wont allow tranny to get fluid and burn it up, (new tranny fluid would do ya no good). some tranny filters just press up into a hole some bolt on and off, just depends on make. goodluck.

for the price of the parts and chemicals, it is almost not worth getting dirty. most oil change places can do a 100% fluid flush for just a little more. it's not worth the extra effort it will take you to get the grease out from under your nails.
