I checked on the dealer's major tune-up package, now they just exclude many service such as brake, coolant, power steering flush service and fuel injection cleaning... I need to pick and choose to add those services myself in addition to major service. I have no idea what service is ESSENTIAL for the car or what is just for ripping off their customers.

My car is 2003 Totoya Camry with 90K mileage, with great condition and I do the oil change regularly. I don't think I did any flush services before.

It would be great if I can get the approx price between dealer, auto shop (midas, pepboys) and private mechanics for those service.

If your coolant was never flushed from your radiator/ cooling system. Now would be a good time to have it done. A trans service and brake fluid flush is also recomended, especially the brake fluid. After a while brake fluid absorbs moisture which in turn can cause your wheel cylinders to leak on you by deteriorating the seals. each local garage has its own prices. It would be best if you just called in advance for an estimate. You can check the trans fluid by removing the dipstick. If it looks very dirty or has aburn smell to it, then you will rquire this service as well. As far as the P/S fluid, again remove the cap and check for contamination or burn smell. the cause and effect is the same with the steering portion of the car, It will deteriorate the seals and cause fluid leaks.

all of the above get, sediments get into these systems and can cause expensive damage down the road, the service cost though will depends on the shop must flushes are included with cost of the change "oil, transmission" but few shops like to charge a little extra for the labor.

at 90k you probably want to have a professional trans service. most oil change places do it for a very reasonable fee vs the cost of just purchasing parts and supplies and doing it yourself. the oil change place will also change all of the fluid whereas a diy will change maybe 50%. if you have the skills and love the car, change every fluid at 90k. it's also time for a timing belt and relateds.
