I been selling for a little while on eBay. When I have a lot of watchers on an item, I think this item will sell. Well it doesn't. I have to spend more money to relisted these items and sometimes it does the same thing.
What is the best time to sell items??? I think Saturday Nite, because there are more people at home from work. But what do I know.

I have been on the computer researching information on starting a small business from a formal business plan to grants and loans. The business I plan to start is retail. The location is going to be in a rural area appealing to the younger generation of men, women, and children. Some other items I plan on selling are acessories such as costume jelwery, handbags, and sunglasses. Basically I am trying to teach myself the fundementals of owning and running a small business. I don't plan to have the business up and running until the Spring of 2008 to give me time to get everything together. Every website I have visited from googling 'small business grants" wants me to pay for a book or cd to be informed on goverment and federal grants. If there is anyone out there who is willing to help me how can I get information for free to apply for a small business grant or any other grant in the catergory of minority, woman, or start up business. Please I need help.

I've been working for a small company (3 days per week) for nearly 1.5 years. My colleague, who is full-time, on payroll, and has a contract, who I trained, has been consistently been getting benefits, paid vacation, and bonuses for doing similar work (with less responsibilities). She may even be making more money hourly! On top of all this, it has been 11 months since my last wage increase.

I have my own small company (OMNIVISION DESIGN) and all cheques (from my boss) are made out to it.

Am I entitled to any benefits as an individual who operates his own company and is doing contract work? If not, is it realistic to ask for more money per hour?

I have more responsibilities, speak english and french fluently (my colleague does not), and I do more work outside of work (I will soon complete a 350 page book I read for work) and!

I keep asking my boss for more responsibility and she seems to ignore/postpone. My boss would openly agree that I am more productive than my colleague.

I left a good job with job security which had become a tad boring to become a manager with a small local business. Some of the workforce are members of a lodge that the MD is also a member of and also he has members of his family working there. One of the employees has been there since the start and thinks I have it in for him. I am there to introduce procedures to enforce some kind of organisation to the company and it feels like I'm banging my head against a brick wall. I found out last week that I'm known as "Hitler"!! I have been crying non-stop (not at work though!) since an argument with a colleague and feel like I've made the biggest mistake of my life taking on this role.

We are going to sell autos on eBay motors and off our lot, auto detailing and repairs. We have been to a couple of local banks and just don't quite seem to fit their criteria. We've always been self employed in some form so our tax returns are pathetic. We don't have any money to put into the business which, well, that's why we need financing. Am I to believe that a business can't be started unless you have thousands of your own money to put into it? SBA apparantly requires 25% of the loan amount to be available from us as cash. If I had that money, I probably wouldn't need much of a loan. Anyway, I'm a bit frustrated because we're not fitting into the commercial lending 'box'. We are talented intelligent people with excellent credit but short on cash. Any ideas?

I need to know what forms do I need to fill out or just how do I go about getting a grant to start a business. Thanks so very much for the help.

Looking for companies that will take our orders from our customers and create custom t-shirts etc. with our branding.

example: customer orders t-shirt with a specific photo, we take info and charge customer and then forward the info to company xyzprinting and they print for us and send out on behalf of us.

are there any good companies for this?

Ok, I know there are a lot of scam artists out there, but there was two that contacted me on data entry work @ home. A small fee is required like $5.00. Now, when I really looked into it, it was that you post ads (typist, etc) anywhere you want, the people pay you a small fee, then you send them training materials which is basically telling you to do the same exact thing and it is just like a merry go round. They say it is legal under a section of the postal code something like 17.
You are not actually doing any type of work, just repeating the process over and over again.
Anyone know if this is really legal? I wouldn't know the first place to look for postal codes or the legal end of it.
