I have tried the sites over the internet, but they all ask for the same thing, my credit card. How can I get money such as foreign people do to open up a small business?

We have 3 trucks, 4 drivers, and they start between 12-2 pm and go until dark. What do you think an ice cream truck should provide that would make you more likely to buy from them? Have you ever had a bad experience with an ice cream truck? (such as a driver going too fast, not stopping?)

I am startiing my ebay business just to supplement income. I have some debt from buying items to sell -- after plenty of research I know I have items that will sell. My first goal will be to pay off my debt, but after that, how much should I save to reinvest into buying items, and how much should I use as "profit". What I don't want to happen is to pay off debt and then spend all I make, and then have nothing left to keep selling. Also, legally would I have to declare myself an actual business -- in Colorado -- or can I make up to a certain amount w/o having to do this? Thanks for any and all help!

I want my own home-based internet business. Any ideas would be appreciated. I don't want any MLM or pyramid scams, nor do I want anything that requires me to "become a member", etc. I want to create my website, sell a product/service, make money (legit money).

In the city where I live there is no pick-up service for recycling. Do you think it could make a viable business to provide this service for a fee?

Nick and Susan decide to go into business, selling discounted merchandise through their Web site. They sign a partnership agreement that requires Susan to contribute $12,000 and Nick to contribute $8,000 in capital to start the firm. The agreement also states that only Susan will have the authority to bind the partnership in deals with third parties, but the agreement says nothing about the management of the firm or a division of profits. Without Susan's knowledge, Nick tells United Computer Products, Inc., that he represents the firm and signs a contract with United to buy hard drives for resale on their website. In the first year, their business makes a profit of $50,000. What are the partners’ rights with respect to the management of the firm? Is the partnership bound to the contract with United?

How much money should a company budget for computer training. We're a small office with six people, but whenever we have turnover, new people don't understand how to enter data into our software system. I know others have this problem, too. Should we have a budget? How much should it be? Should it be a percent or based on the number of employees? Please help.

Someone wants to buy a set of books that I can't figure out how much they weigh because I don't have a scale yet. I charged 5.99 for US, what would it be for Canada? What's the low and the high to be safe? She needs to know quick.
Also, how do you change the shipping for one person? Do you wait until she wins then change it in the invoice or what? I need specifics please!!!

Be it a bakery, a restaurant, or a catering business. Just wondering what the laws are that I have been unable to find. I know in some states you can if you have separate cooking facilities. Please answer with facts. I have quite a bit of experience in the restaurant industry, but not enough money to buy a new location. If you ask a question as an answer, I will try to answer it with a reply, so check back.

A business partner (well, ex- actually, to all intents & purposes) just will not play ball. I have offered him stuff but he has refused, I have tried to establish what he sees as the facts but he won't tell me, I give him my version of events and he simply refuses to enter into a dialogue.

I will spare you the details but rest assured (please believe me just for the purposes of answering the question) he is most definitely in the wrong and I can prove that. But I cannot move on with my life until we have resolved this.

To cut a long story short, he neglected his duties, and abandoned both the business and myself in our greatest time of need. I know people like this have a habit of rearing their ugly head years down the line just as you thought you'd built everything back up again, so I want to avoid this from happening.

Any suggestions as to routes I can take? Bear in mind I am completely penniless, and I mean COMPLETELY!

I would like to make a little extra money selling items from catalogs or something of the sort. My friend sells herbal products so I dont want to do that. I dont want or expect to get rich. I would enjoy meeting new people and use it as a hobby mostly. Does anyone have any good ideas? Nothing with a big starter cost either. Thanks

It needs to be easy for her to add items and set prices and get people to buy using paypal. She also wants a link from ebay to her online store. I have looked at frontPage as a way to put the site together but it seems so old-fashinioed and manual. Surely there is a better approach. Also tried adobe GoLive but was not impressed. Is there an easy to use solution for her -she has a mac, but, she is thinking of getting an intel mac so she can also run windows if necessary.

Any recommendations on a solution appreciated.
-what web tools (goLive too hard to use)
-how to get paypal working with the site (could be easy -just a few lines of html, right?)
-how to link ebay items back to her store (does she need to setup an "ebay store" to get this to work?) -she already has a site on yahoo.
