It needs to be easy for her to add items and set prices and get people to buy using paypal. She also wants a link from ebay to her online store. I have looked at frontPage as a way to put the site together but it seems so old-fashinioed and manual. Surely there is a better approach. Also tried adobe GoLive but was not impressed. Is there an easy to use solution for her -she has a mac, but, she is thinking of getting an intel mac so she can also run windows if necessary.

Any recommendations on a solution appreciated.
-what web tools (goLive too hard to use)
-how to get paypal working with the site (could be easy -just a few lines of html, right?)
-how to link ebay items back to her store (does she need to setup an "ebay store" to get this to work?) -she already has a site on yahoo.

Hello, I just read your question.. I think you'd do extremely well if you were to look into something called Yorgoo.

From what I know, there is no cost to sell items and any fees paid after the sale will blow Ebay out of the water in competition.

Lower costs are associated with this network for sellers than they are with Ebay. People are using Yorgoo as a means to sell thee products through the Dubli Network and Dubli Shops section on the site...This is also an avenue to create an income through referring people. Since I am not a 'seller', I do not have a business account with Dubli; however, Yorgoo is an additional avenue for connecting many of those in the UK to those in the USA who are interested in selling products and/or opening up an online store. Actually Yorgoo is more global than you might think and warrants looking into.

It's free to open up this account so why not? This is something to see: www.succeed2sell.com

There is no way you can do that without programming experience.
- There is nothing like web tools to be used there, you will need a site built with php and mysql databases to handle a site like that, and allow her to manage the site using control panel.
paypal with the site is easy.
Not sure about linking with ebay, but it should not be a problem. if the site is driven by dynamic database.

Cost of this action would be anywhere between 500$ to 5000$.

Contact me if you need a programmer.

You can go to http://www.theexpomart.com from where you can get your own ecommerce enabled online store for free plus they are also giving free hosting etc. You will be able to manage your complete store on your own by easy to use admin panel including paypal setup etc.
