Since you are a nonprofit org, you can apply for grants from the government and various foundations. I suggest you search for 'intergenerational' grants at www.grants.gov.

Alternately, you can contact local business where you get your supplies and see if they are willing to donate any excess stock or sponsor one of your 'teaparties'

There is a nonprofit called "Material for the Arts (MFTA)where nonprofit orgs can go and get all sorts of art and craft supplies for free. This is in NY, but if you are not local you can see if there is anything similar in your area, or contact them to see if they have any suggestions.

Have you considered selling your wares at a local flea or farmer's market? Often the crafts and arts there are hand-made.

For the rest of your plan, all you need to do is get a senior's center to work with a school. Seniors at senior's centers can still be upbeat and everything, and also need some companionship in a family setting. On the other side most parents would enjoy giving their kids more things to do so they're not just laying about the house. So talk to one group, and the other, see if it'll work.

The seniors may also be willing and happy to help you in your business endeavors, from helping you to create products to helping you sell them.

Hey at my age, a tender fifty five, a silver senior, I recollect a grin from a man as being hit on, in an blameless form of means. j/okay I take it in stride although. I too recollect myself a rocker, and I'm now not speaking approximately 'the' chair. If the tune has a well beat and convenient to bop to, I uncover the groove to transport, although it is my foot tapping. 'I realize it's most effective rock n roll, however I love it, love it, sure I do."
