I been selling for a little while on eBay. When I have a lot of watchers on an item, I think this item will sell. Well it doesn't. I have to spend more money to relisted these items and sometimes it does the same thing.
What is the best time to sell items??? I think Saturday Nite, because there are more people at home from work. But what do I know.

You are finding out why eBay doesn't work for many people, you just lose money on listing fees and time invested.
There are loads of items that just don't sell, but eBay keeps those fees rolling in.

Personally, I've never had anywhere near 8 watchers, let alone have it not sell. I have had watchers and not sell though, and, yes, it does piss me off a little. Odds and probabilities say that you should be able to sell, but it doesn't.

I live in Eastern Standard Time, and I find that if an item ends at the evening time, it usually sells. I usually have my items ending Tuesday to Thursday. That's when people in this zone gets home from work; the people in the Atlantic coast are more or less finished eating dinner; and people from the West coast are probably surfing the net in their offices, just killing time before going home.

As for the day of week, yeah, I think Friday and Saturday are good, depending on what you're selling. If your items are more for the family demographic, then yeah, I think it'll sell better than items like MAXIM magazines, CDs, DVDs, and video games (if you can't tell, I sell those types of items). Those are more for the 18-24 demographic, and they're probably out partying somewhere.

I have had the same issue!I had over 100 watchers on an item once and not a single bid.How sad.I think saturday night is a good ending point.Try to aim for the auction to end on a weekend day mid-morning.
