It's just spam.

First off, there are different types of home businesses --

Business Opportunities -- where you buy into the business opportunity. This is the area where you will find many scams and spams where you pay to be able to join the business and never see anything in return

Home Business -- where you actually start your own business but run it from your home such as a home-based daycare, tutorial business, information website, selling on ebay or in your website.

These are honest to goodness businesses and can be an effective way of making money -- IF you do the right way. Selling on ebay for example is a huge money maker for ebay powersellers and others, but many find their items not selling at all.

Or some folks create a website or a blog and monetize it through advertising programs such as Google Adsense, only to find that they only earn pennies and not thousands as they expected.

If you want to avoid being scammed, start your OWN home-based business and do not buy into one of the bizopps out there

Home Business is not a spam. However, it is also not a get rich fast method as described in many scammed programs that just want you to pay.

I have tried paid surveys and I admit that you cannot make a total living out of it. However, it does give you some handy cash. The program that I recommend is maximumpaidsurveys. You can read a reivew here http://www.squidoo.com/maximumpaidsurveys/

Another way is to try online affiliate marketing: promote other people's product. It is more hardwork at first but the benefits in the long-term is huge. You get to make money on autopilot if you are successful. I am still trying and I hope to get there. Be careful of which affiliate marketing programs to join because there are many scams out there. I recommend Profit Lance http://www.squidoo.com/profit-lance-review/ or The Affiliate Allstar http://www.squidoo.com/affiliate-allstar-review/
if you are interested. They are the best affiliate marketing courses and programs I have come across.

Hello

You can make money doing home based business. But you'll need to put in lots of time and effort in order to make some decent income out of it.

If you're thinking of registering into website that promise you money for some survey or data entry, DON'T go for it. They promise you with perhaps $100~$500 bucks per month or per weeks but you'll need to pay first for registration. And they also has a money back guarantee if you decide to back out after maybe one month. The problem is that you will not get your money back.

If you have a passion of knowledge of something, perhaps you could share it with others web surfer that has the same passion as yours. Create a website of your own and share with them your stories, knowledge and your love about your particular passion. From there you can earn money by advertising or using google ads. You can also register for affiliate (FOC) and provide a link to your affiliate partner. When surfer made a purchase following your links, you will get paid.

Another way is by eBay's. Create an eBay's stores and sell your stuff there. If you worry that you do not have anything to sell, there are many dropshipping company that you can use. Some usefull links below if you want to sell on eBay's.

All the best to you and good luck

There are two answers to your question is yes and yes.....there are a lot of good legitimate home base businesses, but unfortunately there are more scams......

Getting involved with an affiliate established internet marketing company is the best way to go...You can check them out. Look for one that has been around at least 5 years, financially sound, has a product or service that has mass market appeal, offers good training and support, has a good pay plan and has little or no start up costs to get involved....

I have been around network marketing and home businesses for nearly 30 years and I think it epitomizes what the american dream is all about....It's just a shame there are so many looking to rip you off.....

I did my research of over 100 companies before choosing the one I am with now....very legit, good pay plan, great support and training....and it only cost me $2.95 to become a member.....You can check it out if you like... http://www.automaticbuilder.com/29565

Most of the offer you're going to get from this post will be scams. I have a consulting business, and the main office is in my home. Technically, it's a home business, and it's very profitable.

I work from home as a Benefits Specialist. I looked for work at home for 3 years before finding this company, and I believe its one of the best ones out there. They currently have about 70,000 people working from home. They also have almost 2 million members on their benefits plan. They allow people to work from home full or part time. They offer 401(k) and direct deposit. Plus you get the benefits for your whole household. On average your first year you can expect to make $18,000-$22,000, your second year $40,000-$60,000 and your third year, on average is $80,000-$100,000. http://www.freedomathometeam.com/jburke...

Hi. Try this site out-

Basically, they pay you to do offers and complete surveys. I have been a member for about 8 months now, and I am always paid when I am supposed to be. It is very easy to do. It wont make you rich, but it is a great way to earn some extra cash. The check I am getting this month will be for over $300.
