I am buying a home based on my income and credit. My boyfriend will be living w/me. (We've been together 3 years). On some paperwork they mailed for me to sign, I noticed it had his income listed in the paperwork. Nowhere did it mention "co-owner or co-signer". It just had his name and income. Does this make him a partial owner?
The statement above his name was 'list all persons that will live in the home'. ..Just wondering. Thanks for your replies!!

My neighbors have three families illegally living in a tiny apartment. On top of that, they blast music all night to the point my walls are shaking. They also deficate in the stairway, and throw brown liquid all over the apartment doors on my floor. Everybody on my floor sees this, but no one has the balls to report it! I reported all of this to The Mangament office for my New York City Housing complex a year ago, they gave me a lame excuse basically saying that they can't point any fingers! I demanded that they investigate for themselves, which they said they would, and a year later, nothing has change! No one in Housing is doing their f***king job. My hair is falling out from the stress! I don't know what is coming out of that apartment! They live right next to me and have also sprayed painted my door which I've reported to the police and to housing! I really need some advice. Please help!

My husband and I are moving to Tampa within the next month. We are looking for something within the 33634 to 33607 zip code. I've heard thats a very nice area, has a nice mall, etc. The only other location we'd be looking at is clearwater beach.

What ways reliable and trustworthy ways are there to find townhomes and/or condos in that area?

I own an appraisal company and when we get a call for an order to do an appraisal. The loan officer always wants to fax the order. I tell him or her we do not accept faxed orders or phone orders it must be done by email because we can't read the fax. I Tell them 0 look like 9 and 9 looks like 8, you can't read the names or the numbers. I give them our email and they never send the order. What is up with you guys.

the architect was working on time and materials, but they also provided estimates for what it would cost to execute their plan. the fact that the bids were so far off, implies that the architect miss estimated the cost of the reality. Because the plans are valuable to me because I cannot afford to build them and because they were so out of line with reality (more than one bidder came in way over) I would like the architect to create new plans (adjustments) that will get the plans back in line with the budget. Is this reasonable?

As a loan officer, there are times that we can't do nothing for clients because of lack of value in the home or very bad credit or whatnot. What are other ways for these home owners to keep their homes from being foreclosed?

I was hoping that our people in office are not getting paid until the budget is signed. So that they can do without things, like the people that put them in 0ffice have to do. Until the budget is signed. Thank you, and I hope that you have a great day. karen

If a home was foreclosed on, and now bank owed. Does the bank have a "format" to selling it? For example, can they just sell it to who they want or must they do it in a fair manner (like auction, sealed bids, etc?) Just curious... are their any laws on this?

I asked a question earlier about how to pay a loan off earlier. I think some of you misunderstood my question. I am not in debt over my head and I have money set aside for emergencies. I only wanted to know the best way to get a loan paid off quicker. By making regular monthly payments with a couple extra payments a year, or by just making payments for about double the payment or what. My loan is $350.00 and I have about $700.00 a month to put on it. How is the best way to apply it? Do I need to make payments ahead, such as paying the $350.00 ahead of time, or do I need to pay $700.00 a month, or just make the regular payment and send in extra money here and there? Hope this is not too complicated. Anyway, thanks for the answers everyone!

I made a written offer to buy a house through my real estate agent. The seller's agent called my agent and asked to engage in verbal negotiations as opposed to written offers. This has happened on two offers I made. Why would a seller's agent want to negotiate verbally instead of responding with a written counter-offer? What is the real motive here?

I have been unemployed for a year. My husband was constantly employed by one employer for 3 years, then just changed to a much higher paying job 2 months ago.

I think the landlord we are trying to rent from is going to request an additional security deposit just because of this.
1. Is this ethical?
2. Will they be obligated to give it back to us once our lease ends and we always paid on time? Or can they keep it and drag their feet giving it back at move out time, maybe from dirty carpet, etc?

They have already requested a $75 NON refundable "redecorating" deposit, and $175 regular deposit.
I know they can only ask for a total of one month rent, but I don't understand what this money for "short recent work history" is going to cover!

I have a tenant who is suppose to have 3 people in her 1 bedroom apartment. Come to find out she has 7-8 people. I pay water, sewerage, garbage. I sent her a letter explaining to her that she is in breach of contract. No call nothing. 10 days later I see her and asked her if she received my letter. She started yelling at me telling me that "everyone in the building is doing the same thing...." I tried to tell her that that is none of her business and we need to talk about her situation. Well she kept yelling on and on about this and then walked away still yelling. So I sent her a 60 day notice of eviction. Then went to my attorney and paid him to evict her.

Well her boss calls me and asks me to explain what the problem is and if I could let them stay so they would not end up living in their vehicle. I told her I already paid the attorney, she (tenant's boss) wants to pay that back to me if I would let them stay and she would make her kick the tenants not on lease out. I t

my father-in-law and his girlfreind are looking into buying the house that's up for sale right across the street from my husband and I. My husband wants him to buy that house, however I'm not too fond of it. I would feel like I'd be living with them again, and always under sirvalence (in a way), and seeing them all day everyday. My question is this, I cant quite tell them not to buy it, but how can I tell my husband that I'm not too thrilled about it. We live in a brand new devopment, and its not even done being built yet, so why couldnt they buy elsewhere in the neighborhood, just not directly across the street. Any advice? thank you so much for your responses.

If I locked in a rate with my mortgage bank, get the commitment letter, and then the rate goes way down. Am I under any legal constraint to go through the deal with them if I find a better rate with another bank? Or is this more of an ethical dilemma?
