yes it's a d r horton house, i heard they have a great reputation, my question is: my wife and i are young and i'm going directly through d r horton, i didn't get a realtor, is that ok, or do i have to have a realtor? what are things i should really know as a first time buyer? I guess my main concern is getting screwed over by the sales person, any suggestions?

We own an estate property that is yet to be settled.I would like to know this-- the person with the power of attorney moved in the house with a boyfriend and has NEVER paid rent. Now she has moved out and has left the boyfriend there by himself, and of course he has never paid rent either. What are our rights to evict.
No lease. Has lived on property since September 2005

I am in the process of moving out of a rental house. Yesterday I noticed the corner of the wall paper in one room was peeling and noticed behind it was mold! It freaked me out so I pulled all the wall paper down (it was old and ugly anyways) and there was mold all over the bottom of the wall! I think someone intentionally tried to cover up the mold with the wall paper because it was the only room in the house that had wall paper. My son has asthma and has been hospitalized 2 times since we have lived in the house and my husband is constantly sick with respritory problems. Since we are moving out next week I am concerned that the rental company may try to cover it again and the next renters could get seriously sick. What do I do? is there a government agency I can contact?

We have a good chunk of money in a savings account and may need to sell our house within a year. What will get a better return on our money? Putting the money down on the principle of the mortgage or finishing the basement, paving the driveway and installing A/C?

I listed my home for sale the end of October of 2006. We got a contract on it the end of January, but now it fell through. My wife and I decided that it isn't worth the hassle to show the house again (too hard on the kids) and that we want to just add a room on to our existing home.

We signed a standard listing agreement with this realtor until May of 2007.

If we decide to request to cancel the listing, what will we owe financially to the realtor?

About two years ago my sister and I bought a house together to get us on the ladder, we have done the house up and now are ready to move our seperate ways with our profit. She is moving in with her boyfriend but I have fallen in love with the cottage and want to stay. How do I go about buying her out? If I cant afford the mortage on my own (which I wont be able to) my mums boyfriend is going to come in with me so I dont lose the house and as an investment for him (not live there) but act as a silent partner, how does that work? can someone give me advice on what I do next? how to get the ball rolling?

The estate agent also used to manage the letting of the flat but I'm not too happy with the asking selling price (20% below what a similar flat has sold). I am not in the country and I also need a sollicitor. What would be the best way to proceed?

Currently I'm in the process of buying a home / rental house in Michigan, and would like to know in general what extra requirements Section 8 inspection will need for the process to go smootly.

The seller is very motivated and will assist in the upgrades if any, the house has passed Safety inspection and up to state codes, but my Agent informed me of Section 8 Laws / Articles, since the house is in process I'm unable to order the Section 8 Inspection until the documents are cleared Title/ deed, etc.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I'm aware of the some ups and downs of Section 8, however there is a high demand for section 8 properties in this area and I've already started my screening process and almost everyone is asking if the house is approved by Section 8. I just want to be preapproved to ensure I've covered all the basics.

I have $100,000 and can most likely get $40,000 more from parents. I make $30,000 a year. My wife would do some renovations as well so may cost another $20,000 plus taxes and fees etc. This is our dream house but can we afford it? Please explain.

I been research multi family unit and I am thinking of buying one for investment purposes (it would be my first property). I plan to occupy one of the units and then rent the other unit out. I was taking to a friend and he recommended I put the property under an LLC (meaning I have to create one and not even sure how to go about doing) to avoid any kind of lawsuits from tenants. Any thoughts on this, should I put the property in an LLC?

Am looking at 4units or less

Thanks so much for your answers

I am a 19 year old male, I'll be 20 in October 07'. I am currently working a job, and I make about $650 dollars a month, I am currently living with my grandparents, and I have a g/f who's 20 and she is 5 months pregnant with my baby. I have a car thats paid for, I just pay for car insurance $80 dollars a month, and I have a Bally's bill that is maybe 2 months late, and a JC Penny bill thats maybe 200 dollars or less. After I got my car and started working more hours I stopped paying my bills in order to get a little maintenence done to my car because I really need it. And I really want to have my own apartment and place to call home for when my child is born, tho' I know if I dont succeed I can always come back to live with my mother or my grandparents until I get back on my feet. So I am looking for an aprtment no more than 525 dollars a month, should I go ahead and get my own apartment or should I stay with my grandparents for the time-being and pay my bills off with my money I'm

Specifically i would like to know why it is different than the principle balance, i can only expect it will be higher than the principle balance? But generally speaking how much higher? I know i will be contacting my bank to find out the exact amount, so please dont suggest that. In the meantime i would just like to learn some general information payoff balances, what economic impact paying off my loan has on the financial institution, and how they can justify asking for a different amount to pay off the loan.

I owned a house 3 years ago and lost the house due to foreclosure. I filed a chapter 13 twice to save the house but due to lost employment, efforts were futile. I am in a lease with purchase option and have been here for almost 3 years. I have tried very hard not to create any new derrogatory credit entries but score is still very low. What is the lowest score that one can have and still get financing.
