600-700..... a 12 x 12 room is 144 sq ft. So if you have bedroom that size, plus say a living area 12 x 20 (240 sq ft) plus a bath, kitchen with eat in dining room and hallway that adds up to another 240, you'd be right around 600-700 sq ft.

Not a ton of room but plenty for one person.

It's not a lot in some areas but in cities like NY it is big. So that isn't the real issue, the issue is how the apt. is laid out. Is it cramped or does it have a good flow to it. Is it cheap looking and have walls everywhere or does it have open living and kitchen areas and lots of storage space. You need to look at it and see what it speaks to you. One can be cramped looking and another can look large with the same footage. Good luck.

This is a nice size apt. My 3 bedroom ranch style house has 1600 sp ft.
