I don't mean to sound trite, but that's called Homeless.
Why didn't you take the eviction notice to your churches or welfare office right away? Is it already too late? Please try those sources if not already too late.

It's called homeless. If you qualify, meaning you did nothing to get evicted, which is unlikely...you didn't pay the rent or broke the rules or something. So, you may not qualify for anything. If you have children some of the state programs may help you if they have a place to house you. The problem is once you have caused a landlord to evict you the managers of other properties can refuse to rent to you. That's what young people don't get, it's getting harder and harder for people to mess over on one landlord and then move on to another one to do the same thing to. So, myself being a landlord and previous landlord of Government subsidized housing, tell everyone it is a priveledge, not a right to be living in housing that helps pay the rent and gives you a decent place to live for little money. It should be appreciated, it's not your right but you are blessed to have it ina time of need and when you get ahead you can move on and come back if you get in bad shape in the future, but like most things they abus it and and make it hard for everyone. So, the local Social Services may know of a program, churches may help, other than that I just don't know. Sometimes, if you have children especially they can move you to the top of the list if they see that it was beyond your control and you have to keep those kids warm and fed. I wish you luck and will pray for something good to happen for you. If it does, thank God because He is the one in charge. Not us.
